Research Experience

Graduate Work

My work focuses on security and energy efficiency in wireless multihop networks, particularly mesh networks. In the security domain, I proposed a certificateless group key agreement protocol which is well suited for wireless mesh networks. The proposed protocol is secure against several attacks under the modified Bilinear Inverse Diffie-Hellman (mBIDH) problem assumption and the Elliptic Curve Discrete Logarithm (ECDL) problem assumption. In the energy efficiency domain, the proposed protocol adopts an asymmetric computation technique to shift the computational burden to the mesh router and also adopts a certificateless public key cryptography instead of a traditional public key infrastructure dut to the efficiency of public key management.
